The Ms. Wheelchair Pennsylvania Organization is a non-profit 501(c)(3) that is not a beauty contest but rather a competition to select the most articulate, passionate, driven, and motivated individuals who will serve as role models and spokespeople for people with disabilities in Pennsylvania. These passionate women will have the opportunity to travel throughout the state of Pennsylvania educating the general public, business community, legislature, and others about the issues that are important to people with disabilities.

They will share their chosen platform (or passion) with different groups, interact with the media, and serve as a role model for youth and adults alike. They will also serve as an advocate in the disability community. Their overall message will be one of promoting diversity and breaking down stereotypes against people with disabilities.

The chosen Titleholders reign will lead to an opportunity to attend the national competition where she will compete for the title of Ms. Wheelchair America. The ambassadors will work to support the titleholder’s efforts while also working to educate the general public about their chosen platforms.

The Ms. Wheelchair Pennsylvania Organization believes that women are stronger when working together as a larger sisterhood to make the biggest impact for change.
